We’re Moving to Two Sunday Gatherings!

God is doing exciting things at Christ Community; we’re excited to share them with you!

Beginning March 15, 2026, we will be offering two Sunday morning gatherings! Both our 9am and 11am gatherings will invite the presence of the Lord through dynamic praise and worship, teaching, prayer, and age-appropriate teaching and activities for kids aged 6mo – 6th grade!

We invite you to make room in your minds, hearts, and schedules to be a part of this move of the Lord by joining us in prayer and joining the Dream Team to bring an offering of the gifts and talents the Lord has created you with.

NEXT Steps is your first step! If you have not yet participated in NEXT Steps, plan on joining us in January on the first, second, and third Sundays after the morning gathering.

March 15th at 9am & 11am

The mission of the church is not to have gatherings for the sake of gatherings. The mission of the church, as our original mission statement put it, is to “Make every effort to bring Christ to people, people to each other, and all of us to our redemptive purpose in the world.” As we can see by the growing average attendance on Sundays, more and more people are having the opportunity to know Jesus better. So much so that we are running out of room! Our mission calls us to “make every effort…” At this point it seems that our best effort for bringing Christ to people and people to each other is to host another gathering on Sundays.

We will continue to offer the same excellent opportunities for your 6mo-6th grade kiddos that we currently provide. This will require teamwork from all of us and Dream Teams to be filled. We enjoy a diversity of generations at our gathering now, and we would like that to continue. The two gatherings will look very similar in content and structure.

The 9am gathering will be live-streamed and the recording posted early Sunday afternoon

First of all, we are glad you are thinking about sabbath! It is important to rest. Sabbath in the Bible also included worshiping and serving in the temple. We hope you will prayerfully consider how you can worship, serve, and rest. Remember, a full Sabbath is any 24 hour period. Depending on your schedule, the 24 hour period you choose may not be on Sundays.
The Community Meal will still be offered from 11:45am – 12:30pm.
This will allow the Community Meal Team to attend the first gathering, and still have time to prepare the meal, and the lower level to receive guests.
This will also allow attendees from both gatherings to attend the meal together.
A great way to begin is to pray, asking God how He is directing you. We encourage you to talk with your friends and family, inviting them to experience who God is and the family of God you have found yourself in. Feel free to share any social media posts, and participate yourself, in the community. Our own changed lives are great testimonies to others!
God has been faithful to us for a long time, and He’s still leading! As we head into our 21 Days of Prayer season, we have a great chance to slow down, listen, and seek Him with a steady heart.
Specifically, we can agree in prayer for a few things:
— Relational unity: a shared sense of what the Spirit is doing as we walk this out together.
— That He would open our eyes to the beauty of the people God is bringing, searching for grace, hope, and a community.
— The incarnation of God to shape each of us to become more like Jesus as we make room for others.
— That we have a missional mindset as we seek God’s practical provision – the Dream Team members, the systems, and the resources we’ll need as we move to two gatherings.
Throughout the history of CCC, we’ve seen God move in seasons like this. Let’s keep encouraging one another, trusting Him, and work together to bring about what He’s going to do!
