  • Book Study Group: The Good and Beautiful God – Led by Rosa Campbell – a group for women or men meeting at 2:00pm on Fridays
  • Wisdom for Women: Devotions from the book of Proverbs – Led by Phyllis Nordstrom – Interactive discussion. Glean from the Proverbs through a daily reading, then reflecting and sharing how you were impacted – a group for women meeting at 9:30am-11:00am on Tuesdays
  • Book Study Group: The Pilgrim’s Progress – Led by Mark Carsten – a group for women or men meeting at at 7:00pm on Wednesdays
  • Book Study Group: Glory on Your House – Led by Glenda Nordstrom – a group for women meeting at 9:30am-11:o0am on Thursdays
  • Family Group – Led by John and Phyllis Nordstrom – a group for all people meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursdays.  Children are welcome but need to bring their own entertainment.

Congratulations Jason & Lindsey Norem, on the birth of Niles Homer Norem!  Born on Monday, weighing in at 9lbs. 14oz, Niles is doing well.

Feeding the Hungry

Servant’s Heart Ministries & some churches in Ottawa are partnering to offer a meal to those needing it, each Sunday afternoon. Christ Community Church has been asked if we would be interested in providing this meal on each of the 5th Sundays throughout the year. If you would be interested in heading that up, please contact Pam Cronkright by completing the contact form on the Serve page.

Providing Shelter

The local PADS shelter has had a very busy season and is in need of some extra help. Please take a look at the message below and contact the shelter if you are available to help.

We will be having snow days on Thursday Feb 12 and Saturday Feb 14. We are watching the temp on Wednesday Feb 18 as well. Snow days are days when the high for the day will not reach above 15 and we stay open all day for the clients. ​We can only stay open if we have volunteers.

Day shifts are 9am – 1pm and 1pm -5pm. If you are available please call the shelter and talk to staff.
