January 2021 : 21 Days of Prayer

  1. Please pray for Marcy Hennenfent as she undergoes treatment for cancer.
  2. Pray for the strength of the world-wide Church and the Good News of Jesus to be shared during this difficult season.
  3. Students, teachers, school employees and administration.
  4. The Spirit of the Lord to work in, among and through Christ Community Church.
  5. Pray for Covid to be over.
  6. Please continue to pray for my foot. It’s painful and is stopping me from getting around as I need to.   – Sue Paxton
  7. I would like to pray for my friend’s mom, Val, as she recovers from surgery. I would also like to pray for my dog Gracie as she recovers from her surgery, too.   – Elliott Jarmusz
  8. I pray for our church as we continue ahead in this ‘unprecedented’ time in our lives–that we would have new insight in what it looks like to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves.
  9. Pastor Lloyd and Connie Johnson, Utica, who lost their son-in-law this weekend after a month long out with Covid. He pastored in Las Vegas. Two of his daughters are attending Olivet and are good friends with the Maxon’s girls. Age 55.”    – Phyllis Nordstrom

I pray against fear and division.  I pray for peace and unity in overwhelming abundance.  I pray for each of us to be used by God to bring peace and unity.  Whenever we are tempted to fear, let us remember to ask for wisdom and peace.  Whenever we are tempted to separate as, “us” and “them”, give us eyes to see Christ in each other.  Let love abound and spread through our hearts, our lives, our church, our town, our region, our state, our country and our world.   – Melissa Ruvalcaba

  16. Please pray for my step-daughter, Claudia, as she begins beauty school this month. I pray she enjoys her schooling and excels in her training, makes good choices, and stays safe and healthy.   – Heather Pursley
  17. Pray for Jesica as she has a growth on her brain. She is waiting to hear from a neurologist and to schedule a biopsy. Pray for healing, strength, comfort, and courage.
  18. I’m asking prayer for our nation as today and tomorrow are the days of a Spiritual movement. Also I like prayer for my daughter and son-in-law whom is a Navy Officer just moved back to Hawaii and want nothing to do with God . They used to be youth minister’s But their 1st child passed away..I have a son Joshua who served 2 terms over seas Iraq and Quait has nothing to do with God.   19. Please pray for our daughter, Adelynn, as she battles epilepsy. We have a follow-up appointment with her pediatric neurologist on Thursday, January 14th to discuss next steps in her treatment.   – Sarah Johnson
  20. Thank you, Lord, that you are good all the time. Thank you that you hear our prayers! Thank you for your grace, your mercy and your faithfulness. Thank you, Lord, that we can be your light in this dark world. Thank you for your presence- for drawing near to us as we draw near to you. Every good and perfect gift is from you, Lord. Thank you for calling us deeper into a life of righteousness. That others may see Christ in us by our thoughts and actions-that is our deepest desire. Thank you, Lord, for the unique gifts you have given us that we get to use to show others who you are! Thank you that we can let you use us to love others. Thank you that we can even ask you what to pray and for whom to pray! We love you, Lord! Thank you for who you are and for who we are becoming!
  21. I pray over this Covid pandemic, Lord. You know the truth of everything happening. Lord, I pray that in Your perfect time, the truth is revealed. Lord, give us grace overflowing so that we do not lay blame. So that we can come together. So that we can do the work of unity. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
  22. Please pray for my father who is in hospital and has tested positive with COVID-19.  – Kevin
  23. Two family members were admitted to the hospital yesterday. John‘s sister Kathy had surgery on her foot to remove MRSA. Husband is recovering from Covid. Granddaughter Natalie, eight months pregnant. Fevers are down on both this am.   – Phyllis Nordstrom
  24. Please pray for my friend who is struggling with unemployment. She lost her benefits this morning and it’s not only financially detrimental but impacting her self worth. She isn’t spiritual but I pray she can see God’s plan for her
  25. My oldest daughter is going through a difficult divorce. She needs God’s favor.  – Sue and Dave Gillan
  26. Pray for my Mother-in-Law as she is having surgery on Tuesday. Lord I ask that you guide the doctors hands and calm her nerves. – Amber Pender
  27. I have a friend whose daughter has been suffering with multiple ailments for over a year, including loss of hearing (doctors said due to autoimmune disease). She is now suffering severe gastrointestinal distress and does not want to eat. My tearful prayer is for miraculous healing! In the name of Jesus!  – Melissa Ruvalcaba
